Robbie's Birthday

Robbie is 4! Can you believe it?!?! And I tell you this kid is something. Of course I’m his mom so I know he is amazing, but is he ever growing into himself. He is so handsome! He is so funny! And so passionate! Those are the perfect words to describe him.

We had his birthday party last week, and it was a blast. My friend Tamara came and took some photos which was great because I was running around like a lunatic. Robbie wanted a pirate birthday, so as you can imagine, I was all over it. I even made the kids their own pirate costumes. Me of course I still had my Halloween costume, and no surprise Mike was not about to dress up. But we were so thrilled that with Mike’s new job this frees up his weekend, and that means he can come to these parties. To take it one step further, we shared the duties of entertainment. I had to laugh when it was Mike’s turn to do an activity the soccer balls and pylons came out. No I am not kidding!

The party was a lot of fun. We borrowed a parachute from the community center, the kids were laughing and smiling and having a great time. Well mostly all the kids were laughing and smiling. Robbie got into a sulk at one point, but we were able to coax him out of the bad mood.

I think its best just to show the photos...

The cake...

Pirate Mae and Charlotte ready for the party. Mae decided that less is more and once we got to the community center she didn't feel like being a pirate anymore.

Let the fun begin...
