Okay now onto the Hudson Family. We've had quite a big of company lately. Soccer Nationals were here and that always brings in old friends from Saskatchewan. Proof that time flies by, imagine, my very first provincial coach was here and stayed with us as he was scouting and monitoring players for his university team. Also was one of Mike's good buddies, Huw, but he was staying in Halifax with the team he was with. Good thing too as they always find mischief. For example they went to Herne Island one night. Mike is anchor challenged and seems to have mishaps every now and then. On this evening they walked to the top of Herne Island to appreciate the view... well on this day they got a great view of the boat starting to drift away. Mike ran down the path and went swimming after it. Hilarious!! Since we are on the topic of Mike and his smooth moves. If you've read my facebook status you'll know what is coming up... but it is worth repeating. Everyone was on the boat and I was starting to untie it when Mike saw there was no toilet paper or wipes near the toilet. I said I'd run up to the house and get some. He unattached the car keys from his boat key (which have a floatation device) then instead of handing them to me himself or getting one of the less spontateous and more likely to listen kids the keys, he handed a 2year old C-R-A-Z-Y Mary-Anne the keys. Why?? I have no idea?? I didn't even get the chance to ask her to be careful she drew back and threw them straight into the water. They sunk quicker than you can say 'NNNNOOOOOOO'. Mike yelled, I laughed, Mike yelled, Robbie cried, Mike yelled, and Mae looks at me and says 'Where 'da keys?' I was so thankful no one was around to witness this Hudson moment. It was highly embarrassing for all of us. Long story short our neighbour Chris came to the rescue with his snorkel and found them for us. We had to wait 6 hours for low tide and amazingly the electric door opener still worked.
Back to our comapny visiting, we also had a nice visit from my aunt Bridge, uncle Kim, cousin Emily and cousin Caine. The kids love Caine, I know the feeling is mutual, but he is 12 and is too tough and mature to be a 'kid'.

Mae, being Mae!
A few weeks ago we saw dolphins in the bay. It was really fun, they kept circling the boat, but boy are they hard to get pictures of. I never new were they were going to pop up again, and by the time you know they are up, they've gone back down below.
Kids waiting for the next splash from the dolphins.
Chris looking for the keys, good thing I saw where they went in, so we had an idea where to start looking.
Hoorray for Chris!
